2011 PHD thesis entitled German-Croatian Language Contacts in Burgenland: Systemlinguistic, Sociolinguistic and Language-Biographical Aspects.
2007 she started to work as research assistant at the Department of German language and literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of University of Zagreb
2016 she was promoted to assistant professor
2021 she was promoted to associate professor
Teaching
At the Department of German language and literature she held 12 different courses, she introduced one elective course for M. A. students (German-Croatian language contacts in Burgenland), and one elective course (Contrastive text analysis in business communication) at postgraduate specialist program Intercultural Business Communication.

Publications and projects
She published two books and around 40 scientific papers and review articles, she gave presentations at more than 30 scientific conferences, held several presentations as an invited speaker or guest lecturer.
She was a PHD supervisor or co-supervisor for some 20 M. A. thesis and the supervisor for the students’ project Croatian-German Glossary of Traffic Security: from terminological problem to translation solution for which they obtained the Rector’s Prize. In 2012 she was awarded the Ljudevit Jonke Prize of Matrix Croatica for outstanding accomplishments of linguists in promoting Croatian language and literature around the world.
